After months of hard work, I'm very glad to announce that the project "ilo nena" has been completed successfully!

ilo nena is a keyboard for Toki Pona language. It has built-in Wakalito Input Method and it can output unicode of sitelen pona directly to computers. It supports firmware update via USB and it's cost-optimized for small volume production.

This is by far the most well-polished personal project I've ever completed. Not only it includes electronics and firmware like my previous projects, it also has a nice 3D printed mechanical case, labeled keycaps, proper packaging and user manual. There's also a webstore, a promotional video and a website for that. It's been 6 years since I've successfully completed a personal project of this kind.

For this project, I've developed a simple webstore "esun Sate" for selling the stuff that I make and its accompanied accounting system. That's something that I should have done since I started selling ilo nanpa but I had been procrastinating until now.

There're still some remaining works for me to do on this project but they're of no rush:

I'm very glad to see some of the Toki Pona speakers are receiving ilo nena as Christmas gift. It made my day to see that stuff that I made are bringing joy to others.

Merry belated Christmas. Happy new year.
